MINTEX BRAKE FLUID
The comprehensive range of Mintex products includes three safety-optimized brake fluids that can be used individually:
• DOT 3 brake fluid is to be used for brake and clutch systems if specified in the car manufacturers guide lines.
• DOT 4 brake fluid is recommended for brake and clutch systems for which a non petroleum fluid is specified, including ABS.
• DOT 4 LV/DOT 5.1 brake fluid is recommended for vehicles with ESP/ASR systems. Also suitable for all brake and clutch systems for which a non-petroleum fluid is specified.
• LHM+ hydraulic fluid is suitable for vehicles requiring a mineral based brake fluid (e.g. certain Citroen models).
Important: Brake fluid should be replaced every 2 years or when boiling point drops below 200°C. In case boiling point drops below 180°C brake fluid must be replaced immediately!
