Handling : KS-1000 adheres to the following substrates: Iron, steel, galvanised steel, aluminium, primers, old coatings, paints and automotive plastics.
Surface preparation: The surfaces must be clean, free of grease and ideally sanded. For optimum corrosion protection, metals must be insulated with a suitable primer. Cover parts that are not to be treated (e.g. exhaust, brakes and springs).
Application:
Shake container well before use and apply at room temperature (15°C to 30 °C).
The drying time depends on the layer thickness and the ambient conditions.
700 µm wet film thickness requires approx. 2 hours to cure completely.
Overpainting:
When recoating with synthetic resin paints, the body protection must be completely dry.
If 2K paints, base coats or water-based paints are to be applied, CS Plastic Primer Spray must be pre-sprayed. Recoat
after the specified flash-off time / drying time.
